Another ######## ####cago company. I should know as I left one a year and a half ago. They will do anything to ring every nickel and dime out of you while pocketing the money made from your misery. We live and we learn. Just wipe yourself off and try again. Take this as a lesson.

No it's cool they are in a set of office buildings with Dentist and a Law Firm like most respectable trucking companies. Sure there have been multiple trucking outfits listed at that address on google over the years, one even boasting having over 3,000 customers since 2009, but that is just because they are all so successful they buy huge new offices and a new one moves in.

A sixty cents per mile I assume you're a company driver. What's the $2500 "company charge" for? What's the $250 "fuel charge" for?

Did the Vermont to Washington trip get repowered or something? Only 942 miles? You would have needed a 70 reset mid trip given those two pickup dates.

You don't say what exactly is wrong with your statement, other than you didn't make any money.

I’d like to inquire about that myself-what did that $2500 go to SPECIFICALLY??
Obviously it’s a lease purchase because they charged him for escrow.
Only 942 miles from Vermont to Washington?? That definitely doesn’t add up. At that distance you’d be lucky if you made it to Northwest Ohio or Northeast Indiana.

If you go to work for one of those 1099 Chicago outfits, like this company is, you definitely don't have to be lease purchase for them to take escrow. They get drivers to sign an agreement for a 200 dollar deduction over a couple of months, run drivers real good so they don't miss it, then it cools off. It's under the guise that they will get it back once they quit. They never do. It's better for drivers to cut their losses in that particular environment. A true escrow in theory, should have a lot more than 2500 in it.

How could it be a lease purchase with them only paying sixty cents per mile? Swift was paying a dollar and change ten years ago; and theirs was not a good LP program by any stretch.

And another thing. I see they charged him $250 for fuel. That's a nice round number, but nowhere near what it costs to run 2049 miles.

He picked up a Ga to Vt load, then picked up the Vt to Wa load two days later, so he would have had to reset before delivering in Wa. They probably repowered it.

Looks like a hit and run post. We'll probably never know.

Why is he being charged for occupational insurance if he's an employee? Every state in the nation requires employers to cover their employees with worker's compensation coverage. Occupational insurance is for self employed individuals.

More than likely they were only giving him $.60 a mile and pocketing the difference.
Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen it happen with companies like this.
