So i take it that your trailer is a 102? And that that one beam wont fit on the side because youll be "oversize"? Lay the beam over on its side and chain the hell out of them
Lepton1, stwik, Paddlewagon and 1 other person Thank this. -

What about "nesting" the beams closer together?

-
Roger McG Thanks this.

I agree nesting would have been both tighter and one row. I have hauled some wide flange beams I nested flange down. Load two beams far enough to drop one in the middle and close up, rinse, repeat.

I would have laid that top beam down. Nesting is a risk.
Toss every chain on everything. I hate to be picky but I bet that one lonely chain way up there near middle of the beam might become a pivot or weeble wooble on bad roads. -
How about laying all of them on the their side, and stacking them inside each other that way?
Linte_Loco Thanks this. -
Could have been set so as to make the load one layer.
Most have called it nesting. Offsetting the flange would allow them to be tighter together.
Squeeze in 3 or 4 places with a choke and finish the securement.1951 ford Thanks this.
