I dunno, I didnt bother to ask, I had all that with me, there is a sign on the wall in the lobby that specifically says that. No one says you have to believe anything I say, however that doesnt make you any less of an ####### for calling me a liar.

Logging Off Duty while your body is in the sleeper is also a log falsification. Say someone rips your hood off while you were asleep and the cops showed up and see your logged Off Duty but you made the mistake of saying you were asleep in your bunk. So the other guy's insurance has to buy you a new $5000 hood but your company has to pay a $11,000 fine because you logged wrong. All of a sudden it becomes a big deal unless you want to spot the 11 grand to your company but there are still CSA points to consider.

Another scenario is say if you were involved in a wreck where someone died. The lawyers will examine your logs pretty close looking for any falsification. This is why companies are pushing for cameras inside trucks to watch the driver 24/7. Log sleeper, they want to see you back there back at the homebase on their screens. Log Off Duty and the dispatcher sees you in the sleeper with the camera, boom you're on a 3 day suspension.
Time for some drivers to start acting professional and taking their craft seriously.

And having a camera to assist the company in litigation processes to help to exonerate their driver? It's only to screw with someone's privacy?

Please point out where I called you a liar? You are the one who started the "Whatever" business so I guess you can dish it out but not take it. You might want to head back to DesMoines to learn to properly log what you are doing and some people skills. I might be an #######, but at least I know how to log what I am doing.

the use of whatever in the manner in which you used it is meant to dismiss what i am saying basically calling me a liar. I told you many times so far what happened, It will be fixed tomorrow morning if it is infact incorrect. Ive already been in to see logs and have my logs audited, the only thing that come up was my frequency in which i do load checks. They specifically stated that my log entries are fine.

And my people skills are slim, thats why im driving, i hate working with people, and people in general. Even more so when they disrespect me just because they dont agree with my stance. It is what it is. Ill dish it out as its given to me.

Loaded trailer and in the shop, I am sent to a hotel. There is no way that I am going to log that I am in the sleeper, able/required to monitor the clients merchandise!

    Analogous to this thread:

How long for a roomful of truck drivers to change light bulb?

Answer: It'll never happen. They'll just piss, moan and argue about it.

    Light bulb? Remains unchanged.

//Read this somewhere, not original with me. Just look at this thread...

Once again: it is not a violation before you sign/approve the logs. You can always go back and edit the logs before you sign/approve them.

Kinda funny if I wanted to know a logging question I would ask someone who knows not my logs department, lol. Obviously sleeper berth means just that, you are in the sleeper. A hotel is not a sleeper. It also matters not one bit in any real way, sleeper or off duty they both count as a break.
