Beeping dash in 99' ih 9200

    Every once in a while I will hear 3 beeps coming from the center section of my dash between the speedo and tac. Does anyone know why or what the beeping indicates? I am tempted to disconnect the little buzzer .

    I drove a 1997 that would do that too, usually after driving it a few miles down the road. Drove a 2002 9200 that would do that if you really scratched a gear hard. Always wondered myself what it meant.

    any critical gauge out of range and it beeps like a hell!!

    for example air gauge, low oil pressire ore just a bad sensor. look at WLs!
