There is no "best" company for every student. You will need to take the list provided on this site and determine what company fits you best, then look up the company you choose on the FMCSA website.

    Check out Stevens.
Prepass, EZ Pass, APU, Inverters, Late model equipment. Good rating.

Keep in mind, simply having a prepass does not eliminate the scales. I worked for a company with a prepass, but we also had a large owner /operator network leased onto our company, and sometimes their trucks would get flagged for minor issues, putting us on the list, and they would start bringing all of our trucks into the scales.

I agree, but as an example of what I meant by "the right company for you".......this is all reefer freight. Make sure your your able to sleep at all hours of the day and night, as often you will swap back and forth between day and night driving.......I hate driving at night, some can not deal with traffic and love driving at night. Everyones different.

I think it's weird cause their are other things to worry about like pay benefits type of work you want to do. My company has no prepass just ezpass I go through scales all the time no problems just keep everything right and your good to go. Just cause you have prepass doesn't keep you from getting inspected.
