What's the second best drive tire out there? Nobody around can come up with any 24.5 Lopro Michelins, apparently they've been backordered for a while.

Bridgestone is a good tire IMO. I run about 90% BS and 10% Michelin.

I called 10 places looking for michilens last week, ended up going with another set of the Bridgestone 726 ela that were on my truck when I got it

drives I’m more willing to experiment with then steers...

Also Firestone 662(?) is just the last generation Bridgestone, but I ended up getting the BS for the same price so just went with them

+1 Bridgestone. They're neck and neck in quality and actually slightly better rolling resistance.

I always had luck with Hankook DL12’s. Similar tread to an XDN2, and as long as you get 200k out of them they’re cheaper per mile than Michelin.

Take this with a grain of salt, but the tire guy I deal with said low 24’s are going to be tough to get. With the rubber shortage going on the manufacturers are going to make what sells the most.

If that's your standard then you may also want to take a look at Cooper Roadmasters. 200k should be no problem at all.

I’ve ran road master RM852s, had great service, 3 years on them and still had tread when I sold the truck.

    This truck has Ironman I-208s.
8 months and still look new, I do have the centramatics on both trucks too.

Yup my only big knock on the Roadmasters is made in China. I try to avoid China and Indonesia when possible. If they're already on a vehicle when I buy it that's one thing, but if I'm paying out of pocket, there's other options I'll happily pay more for.

With the price of those you’d only need about 120k out of them to match Michelin cost per mile.
