A&R has gone downhill lately after they were bought up by some Schnieder execs. Just go read some reviews on indeed.com
LTL is the way to go if you're close to a city. Southeastern Freight, Old Dominion, Fedex freight to name a few.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Southeastern
Saia
Old Dominion
FedEx Freight
Estes Express
Averitt Express
Colonial Freight Systems has regional lanes.
Milan Express - don't know how they are now, but at one time a good regional outfit.
Marten Transport has the Walmart account in Shelbyville.
Estes Express has a terminal in Smyrna.
Some of those companies listed have small terminals scattered all over Tennessee.Last edited: May 8, 2017
tscottme Thanks this. -
I know First Fleet has local & regional OTR. I drive for them OTR and am home every other day or two. Their HQ is in Tennessee, and have terminals dotted around the area. Hopefully, you're near one that does a 100% d/h account, like the bakery, and not the roll stock loads.

What part of TN are you in?
