Yes I do. For me thats the only way to go. That trailer tire in the picture is over 3 years old still has 12/32 left on tread. I do have the tire inflation system on my trailer, definitely agree with the fella above, it certainly helps the tire life.
Best tire for spread axle flatbed.

I have tried several brands and am getting my best wear out of Yokohama. They give me the most even wear and lowest cost per mile.I will be sticking with them for the foreseeable future.
jamespmack, cke and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
That is all I run. -
Which Yokohama specifically

On the front axle, you need to run spread axle specific tires. We run Generals, I can't think of the model #, but if you dont constantly drag them when loaded they do very well.

This is why rule of thumb hauling heavy with a spread of not running caps on lead axle. But most trouble is from guys turning to fast. Rear dump and slow turns solves the issue.cke, krupa530, 650cat425 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yep. I see drivers drag a company trailer sideways with 45k + on the deck all the time, not slow either. Just spin that mf'er and keep on rollin.cke, 650cat425 and jamespmack Thank this.

When I ran a spread axle open deck I ran the MICHELIN XZE tire and a electric dump on both axles. They held up pretty good.
