    We need more info:

    • Do you have your CDL yet
    • If so -- what endorsements do you have (if any)
    • Does your CDL have an "automatic restriction" (or not)
    • What is your driving record like thus far -- any accidents/incidents
    • What is your criminal history (if any)
    • How old are you

DOT Foods would be a good one. Atlanta is right in the middle of a lane for them between the DC in Vidalia, GA or Manchester, TN.

Heartland Express has an Atlanta terminal and owns Millis and CFI, which both train.

The CDL class at Chattahoochee tech in marietta / kennesaw was very good 12 week class a couple years ago when my nephew attended .
    And used to be $1,600

There will be plenty of recruiters there .

depending on your driving history and criminal background ,if any, and other factors , several job options will be offered

you need to get all the endorsements , doubles triples hazmat and tanker and twic and avoid getting the transmission restriction if you can .

Well, you might first want to find out if you're able to get a job with your record before going to the trouble of getting a CDL.
    Good luck

Yep better not waste your money on CDL school for several more years and keep your driving record spotless in that time frame. No decent company is going to hire you right now. You might get on somewhere that has low standards but you'll probably be treated accordingly because they know you don't have options.

    tscottme and Opus Thank this.
