    GWB/Cross Bronx Expwy/295/495 or Verrazano Narrows/278/495?

Would you do it with only 7 hours on your clock on a Saturday? Any low bridges on either route?

Oh yeah. F my company for asking me to do this on recap hours.

You could get that done on a Saturday in seven hours, depending on how long it takes at the shipper/receiver. Give a listen to 1010 WINS and have a listen to if there are any back ups along your route. All things being equal, I would take the Verrazano route.

You could go either of those ways, no problem with height; ought to make it with time to spare in 7 hours-

That place is a trip. I've been across the GWB once and hopped on to I-87 right away but never through Brooklyn and Queens. A little stressful the first time but no reason to be if you're not going into the city. I couldn't even imagine having to get off the expressway and go down into that cluster.

What I can't understand is why the city doesn't remove that 12' 9" sign that tells you to exit. I can imagine some first-time driver panicking and exiting on to the streets and really getting in trouble. The only reason I didn't is I knew better from reading posts on TTR.

Good views of Manhattan from Brooklyn, though. And made it down to Philly with one hour left on my clock. Kind of surprised by that.

Glad everything worked out! Yeah, that sign to exit at Atlantic Avenue has been up for at least 10 or 15 years, lol
