Every company I worked for has played games...the key to winning is knowing how to play their game until you decide to jump off that merry-go-round from Hell.

.34 cents for a reefer pulling produce with multiple stops wow that is called abuse. We all have been there and know how hard that is and also if you logg it legally easily you will run out of log and need restart. So you push your driver to stay loaded 7-12 hours a day with 3-5 pick ups and he has to drive after that? For .34 cents? Owners of companies who do that must be prosecuted!

I can't stand Loves anymore. Go in to get a pump turned on and no one behind the counter. He/She is off cleaning showers. Hire someone else to clean the #### showers. I'm not waiting 30 minutes for someone to turn a #### pump on. This has happened at nearly every Loves I stop at lately. Their showers are 2nd rate compared to Pilot/Flying J also.
Makes no sense whatsoever to limit fuel stops to one truckstop anyway and companies that want to "control" your every move is just that...controlling.

I have been at rains for a few years and its great. The shipper where he got loaded on his first load is a place where we drop and hook and the load was ready for him 99% of time. I remember this driver dropping in tolleson az. and was deadheading back to Oklahoma.Dispatch did not catch him until he was almost in winslow az. which meant he could not grab the load that was waiting for him in tolleson. these guys do not let trucks sit and if you are, there is a reason.

I started 3 weeks before thanksgiving, and i got into California and could not get loaded until after the holiday was over. The guys paid me 3 days detention, put me up in a hotel and paid for my thanksgiving dinner.most companies would not do that. great people to work for.......that's if you want to work!

Someone doesn't know what they are talking about. Rains and Sons pays $.34 per mile with bonus opportunity of up to $.04 per mile. At one year you move to $.36 per mile plus a $.04 per mile bonus opportunity. So in 2 months you could be making $.38 per mile and in one year $.40 per mile. Average miles for the fleet is 2800. Benefits and straight up communications. If you don't want to work you should go to Rain and Sons. Average length of haul is 1100 miles along southern portion of US. Late model equipment.... Kenworths and Freightliners.
