The Houlton to Miami part of it is the one I don’t like.

 

I mainly do NYC deliveries. I wanna see those self driving trucks navigate the Brooklyn neighborhood.

 

Yawn. Call me when a self driving truck can handle stuff like this.

Seems all the autonomous companies and trucking companies want to start with that stretch of road. Why? Until they get the bugs worked out they will only be crashing into rocks and sand. Not a highly populated area east of El Paso until Dallas. When they break down, and they will, they won’t be causing a jam up.

Here’s a question I thought of….. Are the states that are beginning to plan and fund truck only lanes prepping to make them autonomous lanes?

 

I wonder how those trucks will react to tennis balls, like a pickup full of tennis balls

You know it’s coming, kids will be out there messing with these trucks. When I was a kid we’d hide in the woods and throw snowballs at anything that moved.

May even a cheaper way to mess with them..balloons, or cheap large beach balls

 

I’m not sure if you have looked outside but kids are almost none existent. To busy to look up from the smart devices.

 

I got a 15 yo , he never leaves his bedroom.

 

If its a boy we know why. If its a girl we know why as well. Kids today are to scared to get scrapes.
