Truck, the T680 is waaaaay better...with the way they have these things geared and programmed, my Paccar pulled way better.

The 680 is larger inside, and you like the spec...cool. You have the 9 speed right?

Yup. Newer trucks have the 10's. Way more storage and better layout. Unlike the 579, there is very little wasted space.

BTW ladies and gents...if you're coming to FL...it's May, bring your dawn dishwashing liquid...it's love-bug season...my nice clean truck looks like a spotted mule...

We have a lot of drivers from that area that go home weekly for resets.
My advice is to stay out 11 to 12 days and go home for 3. That's how i have been running for nearly 3 years now.
When i come out i always send a message letting my dm know what day i want to get home.. which is always every other friday (saturday if necessary) and my pta the following Tuesday morning. Never a problem. Run 10k a month and i am happy with that. Could run more if i wanted to work harder but i turn 61 next month and my high gear has been removed.

Not really... Started replacing all of the old trailers last year so not too many of them left.

Also we just started putting the electronic trailer tracking on all of our trailers this week to cut out all of that searching for empties.

    Lonesome and Lwood53 Thank this.

Thank you. Been reading through the thread a little. Mostly kenworth t680s with apu & inverter set at 68? Do yall have driver cameras?. Are the dispatchers pretty good. Thinking about applying to big g & doing otr again just trying to find a good regional company with weekends home

Big G will never have driver facing cameras...

We do have forward facing cameras and Bendix wingman system with lane control.
