Big G Express Shelbyville, Tn So far........

Lots of people like to go through their life miserable and angry. They like to make everyone around them feel the same way they do. Misery loves company.

 

I just multiplied 10,500 by $0.43 (starting drivers rate plus the producitivity bonus) then subtracted 25% for taxes and insurance...then subtracted $600 (4 weeks of my spending money)...then divided by 4(average number of weeks in a month) the earlier posted amount was the amount mama would see deposited to pay bills.

The reason I allow myself $150/wk allowance isn't just food. It is also for other things like showers, laundry, snacks, coffee (don't like to brew my own in the truck). Here at Poly, I choose to eat outside the truck because these POS are so unreliable, every time I fill my cooler with stuff to cook in the truck, the freekin thing breaks down so the cooler can't keep up so the food goes bad...or if you take a loaner while your regular truck is in the shop, most loaners don't have an inverter or apu to run anything to cook with.

Stuge...As far as samiches...as many preservatives and chemicals they have in counter lunch meat, even the good name brand stuff...you may as well eat deep fried food, it's just as damaging to the body.

 

And why exactly did we post this on this thread? From what I have read here...this is my happy place...so to speak. All the Big G drivers I see posts from have a positive comment or experience. I come here to get some hope that there is still a decent company out here among all the ones that would prefer to spit on you as opposed to help you succeed. At least this company makes you feel like they give a crap about more than just the money.

 

I did not post anything negative about Big G Express. I never have. I know a driver with them that tells me he's very happy driving for Big G. Don't put words in my mouth I never wrote. If you want to vent on someone that's your business. Sorry your so sensitive, I won't post on this thread again since it obviously offends you so much.

I was just curious why you put this in a positive thread is all. It wasn't aimed at anyone specific, just popped up out of the blue.

 

I was referring to a previous post. I don't feel my comment was out of the blue. If you have a problem with my comment so what? If your trying to start an argument with me I'm not interested. Good luck with your new job at Big G.

 

Chill out, geez. It was on the next page and not under a quote...so I didn't know who or why it was there...forgive the #### out of me.

And I don't work there, I was just asking a few questions because I may consider them in the future.

 

How about we return this thread back to it's intended purpose please. I am seriously considering Big G and am trying to learn as much about them as I can before I decide...this thread has been a wealth of valuable info.
