I took 12 skids of car wash soap to a guy today, 22,000 lbs.

All day I was wondering if the guy actually knew how much he had coming. Thankfully he did, but in order to make all that stuff fit in his tiny unit he had to wrestle the 55 gallon drums off the pallets. Good thing, because I certainly wasn't doing it.

When I delivered beer I received a big box of expensive chocolates and some homemade cookies as a tip during the holidays.
When I started pumping septic tanks I have received a couple different $20 tips, and one time this guy gave me a really nice tactical flashlight, I researched it and it was valued at $60.

Idiot contractor? Come on, he got several jobs done, for the price of one. No idiot, just a typical crooked contractor.

We had a guy that owned a bunch of coin operated car washes. Used to handle that crap for him a couple of times a month. He'd pick it up at the dock, we just needed to drive down the ramp onto our driveway, and set it on his utility trailer. His trailer was set up for it. Kind of neat actually. For once, a business owner who knew enough about freight to know how to stow and secure his load.

    $100
Brought a load of bicycles from City of Industry ,CA. to Shelby NC in record time on paper logs years ago right before the Christmas holidays.
It was one of those.. "do you think you can get this done" kind of deals, because the children really needed those bikes.
I sucked it up and scooter pooted like a bandit in record time ... but pulled in looking like the devil warmed over.

The rub.. it was for COPS FOR TOTS
    they were grateful. Tipped $100.

I asked permission to pull out front and go to bed and they obliged.
