Only thing I can think of is while you think you're applying to all these different companies they all use the same recruiters, so they know you're the same person

 

The trade in value on cars 1 year old with 120k miles is a real b***h.

Try contacting an employment law attorney. If you signed anything relating to any background check or type of employment screening some states and possibly federal law require adverse action notice. An attorney may be able to help you. On the other hand, and not busting your chops but if you called me and first question out of your mouth "is there any punishment for f ups", I'm already getting my head on a swivel and doing some digging to find out why you're asking. Just cause you sign a contract doesn't make it legally binding contrary to popular belief. You could sign a contract to take it up the wazoo on a weekly basis. Sodomy is illegal in most states. I'm not an attorney by no means, but an attorney consultation may be of some value to you. Maybe stop asking about punishments for damages and such if you have a clean and clear record.

I thought so, I knew I remembered reading somewhere about that. I think it is federal law actually, I think I stumbled upon that while researching adverse action notice for like consumer credit or something. Personally I think the OP is pretty paranoid. I have never heard of any blacklist site. And I have left a couple of companies on pretty awful terms. I haven't had an issue finding a job.

Ok, I read through most of this (before I got bored) and company after company he applies to offers him a "scam contract"... Seemingly every . single . one .

Ive been doing this job just shy of 40 years. I have worked for at LEAST 2 dozen companies over that time (I dont tolerate BS well). And until I became an owner operator 4.5 years ago, I never even SAW a "contract"...

W. T. F. is he talking about? I know there are plenty of BS 1099 companies out there, but this clown seems to have applied at every single one of them and nothing else...
