Booked a load with MATT CLARDY with supposedly del on 2/14/22. He sent a rate con with 2/15/22. I called his attention to the del date discrepancy, He quickly edited it to originally agreed date of 2/14/22. I Deadheaded 181 miles to pickup on 2/11/22. After 15 hours at shipper. Shipper said my appt was for 2/13/22 at 18:00.
I couldn't believe it. I called Matt but he wouldn't answer, I sent text msg after 10 hrs with no response, sent another txt msg after 15 hrs notifying broker that I was leaving the facility. At this point he responded with no knowledge of what was going on.
I picked up my trailer & left the facility. 19 hrs later I got a call from shipper asking where I was.
Next day MATT CLARDY went & filed "freight guard" against my company and said that I packed up and left shipper 1 hr before I was about to get loaded.
They are very DECEITFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL with UNETHICAL business practices and most FACTORING COMPANIES don't factor their invoice.
