I'm a new driver, covering people on vaykay. worked last week finished up sun morning around 8am . No work till last night 11:30 ,,Log in and the puter only gives me 10 hours total WTF ??? I figure its a glitch but noooo didn't have my two consecutive nights hours off and even though I'm well over my 34 hour reset it's no good. Finished my day with my last weeks clock, and I'm sitting out the next two days to reset. Lesson learned ....
As my brother inlaw said every day is adventure..........

I am sure you are not the only driver to make that mistake, new or experienced. At least you realized the mistake you made and know how to correct it.

Most systems give you the option of reclaiming any previous off duty days.
Even if you forgot the dispatcher should be able to go in and make any adjustments. DOT doesn't like seeing those but it happens.

That's what happens..if you don't understand the rules and only rely on the 'puter'

    doesn't matter if he's at home termnal. he didn't have 2 consecutive 1 a.m to 5 a.m.

    he'd have it at 5 a.m. TODAY.

it's been discussed for what, 18 months now? should be common knowledge by now.

Just how does he show not understanding of the rules? He made a simple mistake and was able to resolve it on his own. If you can't offer some kind of polite input then pleas don't share your snide remarks. You ever make a harmless mistake? I know I have made plenty of them...

He showed he didn't know about the rules when he 'forgot' about the 2 1-5 AM off nights. In 4 1/2 more hours, he would have had his reset completed. You have to know the game before you play the game.
