I had 283a only 90 k miles started chunking real bad. I stopped at t/a got michelins on steers right away. My time and safety is more important than couple bucks I'd save on steer tires going with bridgestone.

With the Michelin any recent updates on these 284's.

I'm not trying to save money, but can't find any LP 24.5 Michelin X Line.

Just pulled a set of BS 284’s with 145k on them. The drives are still going strong at 250k.

    22.5’s and 14 ply.

I have 284's on my truck. One with 95k, the other 50k since I got one that had radial pull replaced under warranty. Both wearing even. I'll pull them both when the newer one hits 100k and plan to replace with Firestone FS591.

Thank guys! Hate not having Mich on steers. Just got of the phone with fleet manager pal. Heavy steelhaulers he swears they get 150k out of them problem free. Guess ill try them.

Michelin might be avalible in 2 months. I dont need them today. But 2 months is kinda out there.

We have 284's on all trucks. So far so good. Bridgestone drives are all pretty new on all as well. Those are doing real good. 50K to 150K on all.

I won the steer tire giveaway last month. But they're Yoko's. I'll let them go at a discount if you're interested.

Not for steers. But I'm 150k or so into some yoko 703 drives. Very happy with them.

    Thank you

Yoko drives are good. They'll make 250K. Two trucks came with those. My one came with Yoko steers. They lasted about 100K then one went way whacko.

I went back to Bridgestone's last October and trying the 16ply. So far so good nearing the mileage they start to go wonky. Paid 1459 installed at Parkhouse Fontana Ca.
