Jeez, read the OP. Wasn't told to by-pass the ag station but to take a different route through another one. OP agreed to that but decided to go a different way. Go ahead, go to the bond, it's exempt product. Bonds no good. Take it to court, same thing. He agreed to the revised confirmation. Nothing illegal about directing him through a particular ag station.

This thread probably will end up as the first one did.

It would be better to use google and examine fumigation California loads in trucking. Other forums may have talked about this problem. Cut your losses and do not use this broker again.

    This ^^^^^

Anything else where you are still in possession of the load,.. selling it or trying to profit from it by other means will no doubt end up liable for the load.

If the broker wont pay,.. all you can do is try for the bond or take it to civil court. Thats pretty much it.

    What else is there?

Personally its not worth the head ache and time. Swallow your pride, lesson learned, try not to repeat the same mistake and move on.

If you have been holding on to this load the whole time,.. think of all the money you could have made in between then and now had you just moved on.

Think you misread his original post.he said the broker routed to a different inspection station that was father away that is not illegal.now I don't know why he wanted him to go to a specific inspection station the op should have asked and he would know the answer to that.Dont think the dot requires you to go the shortest are most direct routes only you stay on a truck route

That's it. I haul exempt products everyday. You can't file on the brokers bond with exempt products
