They will send you an email with a form to report map errors to the 3rd party that furnishes them to Garmin.

Map errors I don't care about. It's all the missing and erroneous truck-related database and system errors that are proprietary to Garmin Dezls that are Garmins biggest shortcoming.
They are still using a truck stop database that must be from 2001. You should not have to be sent a form. Reporting issues should be easy to find and fast and easy to use. But you first have to navigate through several mazes just to get close to being able to report an issue. Furthermore they have to demonstrate an interest in providing a superior product to their competition. And they don't seem to possess this attitude.
All that said. I still run Garmin non-stop but have learned to consider all it's shortcomings as "part of it's charm and character".Last edited: Mar 20, 2018

But I gave up trying to report issues to Garmin 3 or 4 years ago after voicing my gripes to them one last time. But I have a feeling nothing has changed.

As far as the software is concerned, why route you on Interstate if your truck can’t keep up?
I know this from experience. Set the Max Speed to 80, and that should do the trick.Trucking in Tennessee Thanks this. -
Is this a bug, or a feature?

Mine says turn right when the arrow shows the opposite. Just got a refurb from Garmin so maybe it's fixed. Needs the 2019 update. New power cord and windshield mount too. $250 if anyone wants it.

There is a new April update for Garmin. Also found out to do a soft reset, hold the power button for 15 seconds. I love my 770. Got a spare one for sale.

Does the Dezl division have a new project manager?
The update normally takes forever (seriously, it would run backwards, gaining time as time went on), or 45 minutes or so, but today, every status update was promising 2, or perhaps 3 minutes, at each phase.
Can't say it was that fast, but it was surprisingly fast.
Wasn't even this fast when I paid Flying J for premium WIFI, so I give credit to someone at Garmin cleaning up their update process.
Still thinking of a new Rand McNally unit, but that's because a Rand McNally unit will display maps
