Buying first reefer, what year is California CARB compliant proof ??

Then the motor serial# shows i's a 2019(or meets 2019)

 

Half tempted to get snarky and run a reefer engine to see if it ####s marble out the exhaust.

California is the tail that wags the national dog. Reefer work is not the end all be all there.

 

Well that was the most informative response i've ever read. I'm sure that somehow it answered all the questions he had.

 

Assuming the information I input about my reefer is correct (which I believe it is), is it normal for the compliance date to expire in 8 years and a few months? That’s what makes me think something is off. Maybe I shouldn’t look more into it and just leave it as it is! Hahaha.

 

They always expire on 12/31/??

If the serial#/model# doesn't match the database it won't let you continue to the cert.
