Rally bad experience with these ``BROKERS`` they gave us a load saying to be PU asap, meanwhile, the driver was rushing to the shipper, the shipper said that there is no product ready and that it might be ready only at 1 am the following morning, the driver arrived at the shipper 11 am.. Victoria promised the TONU for the driver, as the driver lost his time and Fuel rushing to the shipper and never got loaded as promised. Next day we called and emailed, and we were ignored only, 2 weeks later we received an email that the Customer is not willing to pay TONU and that she is very sorry about it. But we did pay empty miles to the driver, so we are in a loss. I don't think its fair. We will not work with these brokers ever again.

This is my take on what happened to you , because something similar has happened to me. Truck arrives at the specified time, no product available. I contact broker who contacts shipper, product will be available in 9 hours. I left and waited at a truckstop to be notified when the load was ready. I returned to the shipper at the new time only to find out the product was finished early and loaded and left on another truck. Only after ranting and raving ( as only I can do
) on the phone do I get some detention money, plus my mileage. No TONU because the broker was told: " we would have loaded him if he was here"
Moral of the story, stuff just happens. Don't get an ulcer because of it, just move on.
