    Hey Folks,
my driver ran the truck 2 gallons low on oil. C13, He did check it when the beeper went off. got it topped off, engine still sounds good, pressure is good, and oil temperature is still good, never ran hot. The truck beeps and the idiot light comes on when he is under a load. I am thinking the low oil pressure sensor needs changing. The sensor is on order. Which is the fuse for the buzzer so he can use the truck over the weekend until the new switch comes in?

    Fire the driver.

If not - have driver check oil again to ensure it is not 2 gallons low when the buzzer starts.

If oil is full and buzzer sounds, replace low oil sensor.

If sensor is unavailable, find one anyway.

Running the truck without SEL warning systems in place is a risky idea at best.

Maybe remove the drain plug and check for scrap metal. You do not have to dump all the oil.
