Sigh... Me too. I cursed myself by mentioning trucks coming out of the shop and having something else break before they get out of the zip code. At least the load I have is not time critical.

They're nice trucks to drive when all is well. That doesn't happen too often though...

Well after several months of careful consideration and planning I have decided to end my employment with Calex. After numerous attempts to get my payroll straightened out and the ongoing and never ending problems with maintenance I have finally had enough. I will not come on here and bad mouth the company nor will I throw anyone under the bus. I still believe that this company is better than most but I have seen changes here recently that I dont quite understand. I would like to thank a few people that I have had the privledge of working with. To Louie and Jason you are by far the best dispatchers I have ever had. To Mr Eddie in the fuel dept thank you for everything you have done for me, I cant think of anyone that I respect there more than you. To Brian in safety thank you as well. And the thing that I am most thankful for was the opportunity to make a lifelong friend in you Brother John. Thank you for your endless support, help, and advice over these past couple of years. I have seen you go out of your way time and time again to help other people and I am truely honored to call you a friend and a brother. I will post about my new job at the appropriate time but for now good bye and God bless everyone at Calex.
Metallica88, The Challenger, Hitman and 6 others Thank this. -

Starting my 4th week with the company this Monday and this is the 2nd possibility of having to use a loaner truck (to go along with one case of actually having to). This (along with some other issues) is getting rather frustrating. If my truck might not be ready on Monday, then don't schedule a load until it is...
My feelings are that if it's some kind of long term deal where the truck won't be fixed for a week or more, ok. But if it's just for one day, don't make me move all my stuff from truck to truck.
