California passes law requiring ‘smog checks’ for semis

    I think its the ta in ontario, they have a warning sign on the entrance door ," this establishment sells products that have been deemed to cause cancer" LOL only in california. i think just saying the word california will give u cancer .

    Back to the original post.
    I am surprised they didn't implement this when the other regulations were put in place, i.e. def -dpf requirements etc.
    California, particularly Southern Calif has an unusual set of atmospheric conditions that did require more agressive regulation. They make the requirements, you charge them more to meet them. Or ignore that market. Pretty simple.

    And then there is the fine state of California that is stealing so much water from the Colorado river that it doesn't even make it to the ocean any longer.

    Talk about ecological disaster, CA has entirely destroyed the Colorado River Estuary for the sake of growing strawberries.

    Far as I can understand SB 210 allows to impose fines on illigal trucks.
    Yet it does not say the D.O.T. will hold truckers so that CARB can do testing. And CARB has no legal right to detain any truck. So that that means if D.O.T. is done with you just wave to CARB as you drive by.

    I am curious what pollution caused the last ice age??
