This is why you should not build a city at or below sea level unless you get the Dutchmen to help with your engineering. I still haven't seen proof that anything humans do has any affect on the climate, sure they've got charts with the temps and CO2 level both going up but not proportionately, making it nothing but circumstantial.

I'm telling you I've seen tides like I've never seen in my life and I go out of
My way to see the sunrise, sunset and full moons over the water, but I'm not an alarmist, just a realist. Like I said before it's the children that will see it.

You are obviously not a climatologist or scientist. The data and learned opinion is as conclusive as it can get. It’s still 97% of all climate scientists agree...

This from NASA. Scientific Consensus | Facts – Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet

I’m not here to argue this. It’s as close to fact as science can get. I just think it’s disingenuous to listen to anyone other than the people doing the actually work.

Kinda like politicians making truck laws without the knowledge and experience of a trucker.

I’ll move along. I learned in my education a long time ago that arguing scientific consensus with laymen such as ourselves is pointless. I’ll just continue to read the abstracts of the reports that are peer reviewed.

    Thanks and Enjoy.

Seeing as most people say "well it's science" will also say the same thing saying an unborn child isn't a person and it's just fine to kill it, I'll just continue being skeptical about "science."

I guess none of us are scientists, but it seems as though you can always find an expert witness to say whatever it is that you really want so I'm not sure how much it actually matters.

What I do find interesting is there are certain issues like this that seem to fall within the realm of a particular political party. I'm not trying to argue politics, but what I'm saying is that whenever there's a particular situation or emergency or urgency that whatever political party will say, there are a whole bunch of actions that have to be taken that just happen to go along with their political agenda.

There is always something more than meets the eye and things are rarely as simple as black and white.

So not only is it difficult to always just accept the government's point of view on whatever issue, none of us really know what the government is actually doing. For all we know the government could be doing things that could be causing all kinds of problems that we're not aware of.

But for what it's worth I do believe that there are climate Cycles. Most things go through cycles and I think the climate is no different.

As far as climate, there’s no way every country in the world (cough China cough) would even do anything to help if they could. I just like electric vehicles for their performance potential.
