every time I go to the same beach it’s still in the same place. 40 years now and it’s just the same. I didn’t expect much of an answer. Anytime I question someone about any of the global changing topics I either get hate talk or they try and change the subject. I wonder why that is?

 

Do you really believe that there would be no change in the ocean level if both ice caps melted completely. I watched. Sandy swallow my whole neighborhood and that was just a storm. And when was the last time you took a tape measure to the beach. Every year where I live they're spending millions of dollars(your tax dollars) to replenish the beaches. You sir are very naive.

 

Again I ask where is all the water from the rivers going? You may need a mirror to see the naive one.or maybe gullible

 

Ocean water evaporates goes over land, falls as rain/snow then flows downhill and back into the ocean in a cycle. Glaciers/ice caps stay a big frozen block until they melt.

 

Oh well that explains it all then. One more question are these the same scientists that said we were going to freeze years ago now saying we are going to burn up? Just wondering.

 

In the 70’s it was global cooling, then in the 00’s it was warming, now it’s climate change.

Soon as I see the beach front property owners selling their houses because of the rising tide, than that is when I start believing in it.

Plus the earth has gone through these stages without humans on it, what was the cause back then?

Take also into account the sun gets hotter every year until it goes super nova.


The earth is a big ### filter, it is designed to filter itself clean.

 

All I can tell you is that when I go into a bar, which is very rare, and I ask for a vodka martini, they put it in that silver mixing cup with a bunch of ice and then they go walk away and do something else.

That is usually a very young person and I have to tell them not to shake it to death because it bruises the alcohol. Whoever wrote that for James Bond was an idiot. it's stirred not shaken. And only very quickly chilled.

So if I do not carefully instruct the bartender, I get back a drink that's been shaken to death, the alcohol is bruised, and all that ice that they left in there when they walked away melts and makes my drink watery.

The point that I'm making is that melting is not good.

Long before both ice caps completely melt the influx of cold water into our oceans would alter the convection current and jetsream, dropping global temperatures and resulting in a new ice age.

Repeating a process that has occurred over the course of many millennia as evidenced by the layers of strata that geologists have been studying since ancient Greek times.

Children are taught this in grade school.

Curious how nowadays when politicians and celebrities publicize "man-made global warming" the "man-made" part tends to be absent from their vocabulary.
