Call audio conflict between Dodge Ram uconnect and Escort Live app

Hey guys, just wondering if any of y'all that have Escort radar detectors and have the Escort Live app on your smartphones are having any issues with your Uconnect when you make phone calls while the radar detector is also Bluetoothed to your phone at the same time. The vehicle in question is a 2008 ram. iPhone 6plus running latest iOS and the detector is the new Max 360. The problem I'm having is blocked audio. I can make calls and receive calls but can't hear anything. It also tries to freeze my phone as well. Uconnect + iPhone only, no issues. Radar detector + iPhone only, no issues. All three together, blocked audio on calls and sometimes the radar detector won't connect to the escort live app. It'll be Bluetoothed, but shows no connection to the app. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Most, as in what, vehicle hands free systems?

Escort's tech support said its probably because of a bandwidth issue meaning that it's because my truck is so old, I guess. I guess the only troubleshooting I can do at this point is to substitute the Uconnect for my Bluetooth headset to see if I get the same result.

 

Yeah, and apparently they can't hear me. It shows the call is connected both on my phone and on my radio's display, just no sound on my end of the person I'm talking to.

I suppose so but wouldn't this only happen when the live app is warning me of an alert?

I know what you mean, it's the ad2p stuff, or whatever it is. Long time ago before I was able to get the latest update for my blue parrot 350, I had to download and pay for a a2dp blocker from the App Store to block my phone from trying to use my blue parrot as headphones.

When I'm in my big truck, I can have my Garmin and my blue parrot hooked up at the same time with no issues.

 

Um, that only works on an android....lol. You are talking about this, right? Unless you know how to do it on an iPhone.
