You were stopped at the time of impact! Right lane / wrong lane is a moot point. Send that to whoever is the prosecuting attorney, and make the point that you were stopped before that truck passed you. It's on them.

I hear you - but I plead you're incorrect.
You know the interchange?
It's tight AF, and I would normally grab the left, and hug mustard or left of - Cheeseman, inexperienced, drug her trailer over his hood.
As I said to OP on the phone , I avoid that one and go 240N to 40W to avoid that nasty 55 bridge. A few miles more for less aggravation like this.wore out, Hammer166, Old_n_gray and 2 others Thank this. -
OK give me a sec - I thought I had this one wrapped.

My .02, this is what I would of done, if I’d seen that truck moving towards me, I would’ve moved more to the right to avoid it. Even better, i would’ve of stayed further back until someone would’ve been courteous to let me over, it’s call patients. But that’s me. These days there is ALOT of stupid, and in most cases, you can’t fix that.(referring to the other guy).

i never been on that interchange before but i will take your word for it that its super tight. it sure looks like it from google maps and the video.. im not saying the idiot that dragged their trailer over the hood of cam truck is in the right. but the cam truck has a responsibility as well to watch the mirrors and anticipate that was going to happen. that's truck driving 101. you can clearly see in the mirrors that idiot was not going to let them over after cam truck tried to nose his way in there like a new yorker and shouldve anticipated the trailer swing was gonna take off the hood. a defensive move to the right i think would be immediate reaction, followed by a blast of the air horn and some cuss words over the CB.... the hood never wouldve been taken off if the cam truck did not try to cut off the other lane. case closed... merging traffic does not have the right away. ever.Czar_Zero, Cattleman84, TallJoe and 4 others Thank this.
