Practically stopped - less than 5 mph.

I'm well familiar with that nasty interchange - and @LoneRanger was doing as required - "Trucks and slower vehicles stay to the right"

2 lanes maintain to the merge - one comes in from the left. 3 exits out. Collision happened IN THE RAMP so moot point on where lanes terminate.

I've driven it 500 times. It's a poorly engineered ramp that requires BETTER than a steering wheel holder to keep everyone safe.

Cheeseman is inexperienced, and - maintains center of lane (or right) - 53' trailer tracks over to impact.

She came from behind @LoneRanger to overtake (impatient) to create the collision .

You are right. But if he would have stopped and or moved to right it could have been avoided.

D.Tibbitt, blairandgretchen and Opus Thank this.

Question; why get attorneys involved, why not let the insurance companies handle it. Doesn’t look to serious of a contact ?

    D.Tibbitt and blairandgretchen Thank this.

i am saying the cam truck was merging because of the accident blocking his lane and needed to get over... not talking about merging onto the connecting road from the interchange... the cam truck has no right of way, regardless of if the traffic that has control of the lane came from behind and ran over the hood... merging traffic has no right to anything.... you yield at all times... it is going to be hard to overturn that..

You stayed in your lane? She came into yours? Or did I miss something?

    TallJoe Thanks this.
