OK I start with a OTR company this Tuesday, but I have a possibility to work for a local job that pays about the same, I will find out this Monday if I have the local job, but with the OTR company I have already done my background check, drug screen, and filled out my W4. So my question, can this OTR company which I haven't started for yet, report what I did to my DAC report if I do take the local job?
Can a company report something bad about you in your DAC report if ?

Can they I honestly don't know but I have set up multiple orientations at once so I have something if my #1 choice doesn't accept and never seen anything on my DAC.Highly doubt they'd waste their time on it.

From what I inferred after reading this page http://www.thetruckersreport.com/the-truckers-dac-problem-tips-and-tricks/ , it sounds like the OTR company couldn't report on you until you have actually shown up for their orientation. HTH

They can and they will if they choose to.I decided not to take an otr job because something better come along and that otr company put on the dac.I was hired but didn't work for them. That didn't tarnish my chances with other companies.

Their would be no orientation, I would be driving for a FedEx contractor, all I had to do was pass my drug screen, background check and pass my driving test.

I apologize,I didn't read the title of your thread clear enough. Why would you think that OTR company would put something bad on your report?I don't think you have anything to worry about. They may just say you were hired but declined employment with them. But im confused, what do you mean what you did to your dac report?

The article states DAC Fix services has a 70% success rate on disputes. That confirms what everyone suspects, that DAC reporting system should be done away with.
And FMCSA has a reporting system for reportable events. It seems that should be enough for an employer.luvtotruck Thanks this. -
