Title sorta says it. I am in CDL school and the med exam came by and did the tests. The computer part where you list you issues or if you have any is the question that I have . I put down (like an idiot) depression and now I have to find a med examiner to show I am fit to drive. The issue is that it was years ago and outpatient when my dad passed.it was outpatient and no suicidal thoughts just depressed back then. I was the one who decided to go,not forced . if I take a second exam, will that "clear "the first one?
I didn't finish school as I am out on medical leave to get that taken care of they said but finding a one time phycologist to do it is harder than you think. I do not know if they sent it in or not by it the DR.who did the exam asked for the mental clearance I guess . Thnx for any info .
Can I do a second med exam to get rid of the first

YES! You can! There is one caveat though! The 2nd exam MUST show the first one on the long form regardless of the outcome of that first exam. I hate to say it, but you might be stuck until you can get a mental health professional ready to state you are 100% recovered. Sorry, but this is how the process is.

Yes those medical exams can be tricky. I was always told to not say you snore even if you do because they want to put a sleep apathy machine in your truck, I hear that costs lots of mullah. You will need doctor to clear before you get back to it. Be honest tell them your dad passed away and you were going through tough times but now you know he with the lord and you know you will see him again one day but not before your time.

Easiest thing. Schedule an exam with a shrink. Get his/her sign off. Take it to the original examiner at your job. Issue solved. They'll reissue your med card. I had to do this with my colon cancer from 20 years prior. But it is easy.

I got a second med card at a different place when I changed jobs. They never mentioned anything about my first one and the company accepted it without
