If I recall corekly and I dunno, maybe, I "believe" to have hauled a FEW Loads that required keeping under a 1/2 Tanks at Twin 130's - 150's because I refused when OTR to run with smaller tanks.
They were a pain and decided, FULL TANKS and decided "alternate LEGAL Routes", then progressed to another Company.
Local, whoop-d-doo.Pamela1990 Thanks this. -
My gauge often reads 1/8 by the time i fill up, which is really about 1/4 though.
-
I do it all the time.
If its cold you should be able to just set your truck on stand by and run your bunk heater. The truck will use battery mode but it doesn't idle as much. -
Mine often reads 3/4 after I fill up before I even move the truck! Peterbilt gauges suck. LolPamela1990 Thanks this.

If my gauge hits 3/8, I'd better be within sight of a fuel pump.
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
A fuel location is probably more than a million dollars, if Loves is any measure, it takes about a year to build out and open a location.tscottme Thanks this.

Might be short on the million
The land is probably more than that before they even move any dirttscottme Thanks this. -

The MSRP on my ‘’67 Mustang Fastback was $2700 IIRC. It’s worth a few pennies more now.
