And no - it’s not a slam dunk with Landstar - @Dave_in_AZ can attest to that.

And most of You Tube info has to be taken with a grain of sea salt.

Being as that testimonial is coming from someone that's never leased a truck, with like 16 months total experience, I'd recommend to all seeking advice on subjects to ask at what level the expertise is that the person giving said advice has.

    tscottme and blairandgretchen Thank this.

True that. Always question the knuckle heads spouting the big numbers.

Well you've chronicalled a lot of real numbers.

I've posted a lot of real numbers, with photos of actual statements, real checks.

    What do we know?

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

Nothing. In a world of photoshop, and fake news, all information has to be dissected carefully.

And I’m a fool for posting real numbers - but luckily live in obscurity where I’m never questioned on lofty claims.

My original intention was to inspire and help, but the You Tube heroes have that market sewn up.

Luckily none have claimed BS, and few have asked for keys. Yet keys have been passed on, as they were to me.

    Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

So why are you trying to deceive people?
No way $4800 gross to HOUSEHOLD.
    $900 truck payment
    Fuel...
    Insurance
    license
    Taxes.... not just income tax
    tires fund
    maintenance fund
fund in case of unexpected repairs
cost of living on the road
Got some real winners on here trying to deceive people.
You're lucky to make as much as a company driver... to the HOUSEHOLD.

    My bad... apologize...
But still.... ODFL is not easy to get that position with. Not exactly known as a starter company.
