Can Someone Give An In-Depth Answer On How To Start My Own Authority And Business

    I’ve been researching it and honestly, I’m overwhelmed! There are plenty of lists on what to do get this get that, but where exactly do I go to get these items...and what’s up with the processing agent? I’ll stop here! Please help! I live in the Atlanta, Ga. area.

    Also, how much should I have saved up??? I know I’ll lose money before I make it!

    To answer your question .... a processing agent is someone who represents you to the process server.

    Just Google it. Find someone in your area that does it, find out what the cost of Insurance is, if you can afford it, then proceed, NASTC out of Nashville Tn. Is also very helpful and I prefer their Insurance over OIDA. Nothing against OIDA, long time member.

    BOC3, is just a required part of the insurance policy. Comes with the policy. Why do you think you have to have your own Authority? It’s a simple $300 application, can be done in 5 minutes. Then get insurance, IRP, IFTA accounts, Drug testing program, and hit the road. You’ll be rich in no time.

    Crap, too early in the day, yes insurance can require it first but it is for process servers to gain access to you.
