Can you be a p&d delivery driver with only a cdl and air brake endorsement?

Depending on the Company, more likely hazmat is the one that’s needed. If you plan on pulling a pup, I’m sure the Company will require doubles. It’s easy enough to get all of them. Then you’re set. Might have to study a bit for hazmat. I also think you have to take the hazmat every time you renew.

At least dude's asking questions and doing research, rather than reading a CRE ad, jumping in with both feet and then coming here to whine about it.

To get your foot in the door with LTL, you need to have Hazmat. Both USF Holland and USF Reddaway will hire you without it but require you to get Hazmat within 6 months of employment.

Couple years back, FMCSA flirted with the idea of requiring tanker endorsement if you transported 3 or more liquid gaylord totes. ATA filed a lawsuit and put an end to that.

Tanker and double/triple is just a 30 question test that will set you back $30 or so. Just get the endorsement. Hazmat is the only one you have to get prints for and retest each time your CDL expires.
