Night driving is great . The biggest problem is how well your body handles it . There can be some serious health issues from lack of sleep.
Can you drive at night?

Most problems that happen when working nights are from people trying to live half in the daytime world and half in the nighttime world. Commit to working nights like day-timers commit to working days. I worked nights for 18 years. I maintained my "normal" sleep schedule all week long. I DID NOT "stay up way past my bedtime" on my first day off to do daytime things. I DID NOT skip sleeping before my first day back at work. Just because I was home at 1130 am DID NOT mean I could run errands for someone with a M-F 9-5 job. I am asleep and NOTHING is more important than my sleep. None of the people making demands on your time during the day will be awake with you at 3:45 am while you try to stay awake in bad weather.

I run nights all the time. Back when I was on LTL line haul I would get up at 6pm when the wife got home from work, spend a few hours together, she would go to bed about 9:30 as I was leaving for work. I get home about 6am as she is getting up, spend a few hours together and she heads off to work, I get a couple of hours to myself to get whatever I need to get done done and then head to bed about 10.
Worked out pretty good. I have always been nocturnal. Still am.
