    The Katy freeway into Houston....

I get to enjoy that at 7am about 4 times a month.

Go ahead 4wheeler jump in there and slam on the brakes... Stopping distance is only a myth.

    1. Los Angeles
    2. Hollywood
    3. The city of Angels
    4. Tinseltown
    5. LA

But in all seriousness, I'd say LA, NYC, Houston, DC and Atlanta are the worst, in that order. Honorable mention goes out to I-76 just west of Philadelphia, aka the Schuylkill Expressway.

I'd rank Dallas around a 6 out of 10 for traffic. The DFW metro actually has an excellent highway infrastructure.

I run that from OKC to South Dallas 2-3 times a week.... Usually hit split north of Denton around 8am.

The joy starts all over heading into to Waco... For those Austin, san Antonio runs.

All of them are easy at 3 a.m so that usually my plan.
But, if forced to drive in the day....shudder....
    1. L.A, the traffic simply does not move and L.A metro is simply massive.
    2. NYC. Lots of cars and tight, old roads.
    3. OKC and Tulsa. The guy who designed these two systems was on crack.......and possibly LSD
    4. Atlanta. You can only run the loop and for some reason people drive really slow.
    5. Quebec. All the signs are in French!

Dallas is not so bad if you go through on 20, 30 is horrible and the high 5 is a nightmare. But if you are passing through getting on 20 is usually not that hard to do unless you are going north/south.

Many may be surprised by Chicago not being on my list but I'm good in there. It has many routes and the service plazas have these great Greek gyros!

Really! That surprises me. I like that 79 runs to the west of it so that gives it a good bypass if you are just passing through. Going in is a different story though.

I almost lived in Atlanta so didn't bother me. Now I would try to hit it from 2-4 am if I could.
