I was under the impression that you needed 1 year experience or 6 months and graduated from an approved school in order to get on with a FedEx Ground contractor. Maybe that’s not the case in the Detroit area? Or they could have relaxed it due to needing drivers for peak season.

You can also get on at FedEx Freight as a driver apprentice with no experience.

My last two job both train new drivers both small company with about 5-10 trucks one will even train you to get a CDL for free while on the job.
Some company need people bad ether because of pay or the duty on the job is to much for some people just look for small company and walk in and talk to them

Just scan though some page and realize you got a job at fedx congratulations

CDL-A Possible, but highly unlikely unless you personally know someone in a position to hire.

CDL-B Definitely possible, but not all areas are created equal for CDL-B job opportunities.

yea im pretty suprised i got the job, with only a month exp(i'm the only rookie they hired lol) but the thing is, iv'e been driving straight trucks for 3 years and have a decent record, so this probably helped.
