Career choice, get my CDL at 20?

    Honestly anything is better than what I'm currently in with money. I'm projected around 27-30k next year before I take out bill expenses. After I take that out I'll be well under 15k profit next year. Being solo I can only do so much and during the summer it gets over 110 degrees here and your body is limited on what you can do. We just broke a record of 117 degrees and it's only gonna get worse. So if I can do 2 years of trucking and make an ok salary then I might make more after I'm 23, I'll already have the experience for 2 years and I'm still young enough to plan on something else if trucking ended up not making me happy

    I’ll be the one that gives you the startling stat the others have left out. Most new drivers don’t last 6 months. The reasons vary greatly from person to person.
