I had my dog on the truck for 4 years. She got out one time by squeezing through a half open window while I was asleep. Some time later I got a phone call from someone saying that they had her (the phone number was embroidered right into her collar).
Another time I left her at my folks place just intending for about a week or so. But she saw me driving the truck away she freaked out and jumped a 6 foot fence and the neighbors 2 miles down the road called me to say they had my dog. I had to turn around 60 miles out of route to go back and pick her up.NavigatorWife, RedRover, tucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Isn't it a joy (and a pain, sometimes) to be owned by our pets? Glad you got your dog back - more than once!

You should hashtag the location on twitter if that is your thing.
Our cat had discovered that toggle on the KW2000 we had. Onery #### thing when it wants window down. We finally took the plastic out of it for a while anyhow. What we should have done is maybe find the fuse on that stupid window. It was a great truck cat. But discovered that it will never do well in a home situation so... there is that.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Hmm, I'll have to consult with someone about the hashtag/twitter advice. Good thought.

Oh, no! That's terrible. I hope you're reunited very soon.
