thanks for the advice on this site I have practiced a lot on this but these are knowledge questions, are these not different than the CDL test questions. and if so where can I find the CDL questions that they would ask?

you WILL NOT be able to get the actual tests your state has..every state "rotates" so to speak the CDL test questions, this way no one can "memorize" them. this also cuts down any chance of cheating, if someone is sitting next to you. you would each get different tests..

the only thing that can BE recommended, is that you get the CDL book, read it all the way through, go to the websites and take practice tests.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the way the questions are worded, like for instance, "which would you always do"..

    "what should you never do"

"what is most likely to happen"

    "what will happen"

and so on and so forth..you MUST READ the question in it's entirety. and NEVER remove a word or add a word to make it SOUND good to you....

read the choice of answers and 9 times out of 10, the FIRST answer that pops into your head, IS THE RIGHT ANSWER....!! DO NOT second guess your answer...!!!

The practice tests are pretty accurate and will get you used to the way questions are worded for the tests. Like rerun said, they are not all the same, but rather worded in various ways to keep you on your toes. In CA, they dont even let you take your failed/completed tests home to study. Online practice tests are your best bet.

If you read thee manual as Stated in earlier Post.

Then take the practice tests on cristcdl !

If you have problems in any category go back to manual and read that section.

Once you can achieve 90s and 100s on the cristcdl tests you will have No Problem Passing your actual test !

Read the entire manual First then later read it through again so it all embeds! lol :biggrin_25514:

The cristcdl questions are almost word for word what was on the CDL (and endorsement) test in Illinois.
