For one thing air brakes is not an endorsement. If you don't pass the test, you will have an air brakes restriction put on your license. If you passed the rest you are ok there. Go back in, after a little studying, and pass the air brakes test. Good luck.

Air brakes are very important. If you don't have it you probably will not be able to use a heavy truck or bus in America because there are none that don't use airbraking systems. That is one restriction (Along with auto only, non manual) you do not want.

I’m not a bus driver but I guarantee you need that ability to use air brakes unless it is small. Also if you are planning on driving a full size coach/bus you need a Class B not C.

Regarding the air brake test questions, watch a JJ Keller / or similar YouTube on pre-trip inspection on airbrakes. It is a lot easier to remember when you actually know what the components are and what you are looking for instead of just memorizing text.
