Just another opinion. There is no doubt Celadon is still in trouble. Can they emerge? Sure.
You kind of go by what you see, hear, and know to form an opinion.
New facilities mean nothing. Sometimes they are upgraded and built to make the company more attractive to buyers.
I run between Indianapolis and Gary five days a week. The 65 Corridor to Chicago is always truck traffic heavy. Celadon has become nearly extinct on this roadway during my shift. I've seen one in the past approximately one month. And that was a Celadon trailer pulled by an owner operator. I hear of a lot of parked power units across the country. Revenue has to be suffering although they might have drastically cut operational costs also.
So, again just my opinion I think they're in trouble. But a few hundred shares at a buck 28 might be worth the risk -
Weird: I’m still with Celadon... Walmart Dedicated: my best year yet... lol

I did a little research because I was actually interested in how far the stock had fallen and would it be worth an investment. I don't think Celadon is going under anytime soon. But I do believe that within 2 years they will be sold.Last edited: Feb 22, 2019

The writing is on the wall...basically there are very few celadon trucks in the road...
-
And not to mention the very possibility of not getting week or 2 of pay at the end. And kiss any built up earnd days off and vacation...good bye because your next job isnt going to honor them..
If your there id seriously consider looking at building a reputation and career some place else...
And the large fancy state of the art terminal in LLaredo? That was built before they got caught cooking the books...
They borrowed money to stay alfoat. There expenses are higher than income and that gap is getting bigger and bigger every month.... That loan will only last so long...
Basicaly borrowing money to make the payment of borrowed money...
They need atleast 1000 drivers more to start moving all those sitting uuni to generate income. And tjey needed them 3 moinths ago... They cant recruit drivers fast enuf for reasons i stated earlier.Last edited: Feb 22, 2019
