If you think that's mean, I heard a guy say their nickname should be Kill-A-Don
Apparently a celadon truck ran over a fella named Don?

1 single person driving for celadon thinks is the most amazing place to work.... Vs the thousands that say otherwise. Only reason she thinks things are great is becaise thethey jave lost 3/4 of there drivers.... = she gets tons of loads thinking its best thing since slice bread... They just do not have the drivers to cover there loads. They ate losding customers left and right. There imcome statments from all of 2018 shows therr cash flow has been cut over 1/2.. Celadon is still hemragimg all that money they borrowed. Cant get in the red and wont unlrss they hire/ replace the 500+ drivers they lost in 2018 alone
drvrtech77 and STexan Thank this. -
Uhmm no she is running a dedicated account.
And there is zero chance you know what Celadons cash flow is. No one does until they release their financials.
It is fine if you do not like them. But stick to reality, not hyperbole.Swiss Mountain Dog Thanks this. -

You are right, I just told everyone I was gonna hang in there until I felt a change in my situation or we were sold or absorbed by another company or something that I didn’t want to stick with. Having been here a longtime I am privy to some of the inside scoop... I do know our financials are really messed up but, we are attempting to get them audited and corrected. I do know that there is or was a criminal investigation into what occurred but those responsible have been pushed out of the company. I do know that we have sold off a lot of unencumbered assets to allow us to go thru this reorganization and we have been able to find financing for continued operations. I do know we have a good influx of cash flow from our continued operations. I also am keeping my chin up that we have been able to do all this without so far having to go into a bankruptcy reorganization! So; since this has been a very good year for a lot of us still hanging on and I have a contingency plan just in case I have to get home or something happens all of a sudden( which all of us should have a slush fund or unencumbered credit card for) I told everybody on here: I’m sticking with them! And I have...
so no; it’s not sell-a-con... they have been relatively open and honest to all of us about what occurred, what is happening, and how we might get thru all of it.....
Yes, 06; knows I’m on a great dedicated contract that we have until Sept.. but, if I wasn’t, I am sure I could find a home within the company doing something else and still remain as happy as I have been for many years with Celadon. Ugh.. I gotta go to zzzzzz.. had to pee.. lol
Night my friends....06driver Thanks this. -
I drove past that facility a week and a 1/2 ago in there is no celadon sign on the property.... And the place is over capacity on tractors stacked up in there there are no Room for trailers...
-
Don’t know what to tell you other than what I’ve said: I’m on Facebook this moment with a couple drivers there doing a relay in our Wax yard...room for that... lol
-
They've pulled all their recruiting paraphernalia from all the truck stops.....
-
Waste of money when we are trying to reorganize... lol
