Like I said to him earlier , he's entitled to see through his eyes , but it's a small percentage that snarl at a lone star , they're ###### looking trucks according to most people.

International doesn't even make the max force anymore to the best of my knowledge, it wasn't carb compliant when it came out, they were buying carbon credits just so they can sell them. From what I understand the bigger MaxxForce 15 was even more of a lemon than the 13, it only lasted a year. The 13 isn't much better, it is even more of an underpowered slug, and there are thousands of them sitting on dealer lots across the country, because international can hardly give them away, no matter how good of a deal they are offering. Literally every one of these trucks that I get the unfortunate luck of being stuck behind on the highway is always belching thick white or gray smoke and has a nasty stench. I almost get sick to my stomach from that smells sometimes..

I am NOT trying to get under your skin, but to me they are just plain ugly. If they were such good looking trucks, I think you would start seeing a lot more of them on the road, but you don't...

To me the 9200, 9400, and 9900 especially were much better looking trucks. And I think the interiors were much better laid out on these older trucks. To me the Prostar just seemed needlessly cramped, and smushed together in the drivers seat area.

Good Lord the 9400 better looking than the Lone Star ? Do you wear glasses ? I just wonder , if you do you may want to upgrade and if you don't you might want to have them checked. I drove the 9400i 3 different times , and you can order trucks from a catalog with options.
I don't agree with ya about the interior of trucks at all , when you have the money you get what you want. The Lone Star I looked at a couple years back had a beautiful hard wood floor my friend , show me a 9400i that even had that as an option. As I said , if your eye doesn't take to the Grill and front layout so be it , but your opinion of the interior is off a bit.

It's an interesting looking truck. But all it is at the end of the day is a ProStar with a different hood.

Look if you are in love with the Lonestar that much I wish you the best...does it bother you that much for someone to have a different opinion? My interior gripe was mainly with the Prostar. But the interior dimensions are virtually the same if I remember right. I can special order a hardwood floor for any make and model I want, regardless of whether or not its a factory option. Do you think the expensive show trucks out there all came from the factory like that?

My vision is fine, and I still say if they are such great looking trucks, why don't you see more of them on the road? They have been out here for over 5 years now.Sometimes I go a whole day or more wihout seeing a single one, it is a hard truck not to notice. I will stick to calling the 379 Pete, KW W900, 9900i, and Freightshaker Classic a good looking truck. My favorite "new" truck is the 579 Pete (and KW 680), finally even Peterbilt has come out with a Plasticky truck that looks good and drives nice.

I think international went a little overboard with trying a retro design with the Lonestar, any way even if you cast looks aside, for whatever reason they are just not selling.

I'll tell you why. Because of the ProStar. That truck and Navistar's screw ups have kept buyers away. Plus the price tag. It's the same problem truck, it's only dressed fancy.
