    From Central Oregons website.
    • Minimum of 23 years of Age
    • Minimum of 1 Year Recent and Verifiable Tractor-Trailer Experience
I tried applying here last year. They wouldn’t take me with over 400,000 miles driving experience in the PNW because all of my trailer experience was with a pintle hitch.

My new job is still a pintle hitch trailer but it is more flatbed (shingles/siding) and not car hauling. So I might try again after next years lack luster bonus.

I saw lots of COTC trucks when I worked out West. They seemed like a first-class operation from what little contact I had with them.

Used to see those trucks at my old employer quite regularly. Drivers seemed happy, equipment was decent.

I think some people refer to COTC by saying cot-see. I worked for another company for 18 years and I heard their name pronounced 10 different ways. WTH, can you read?

They call themselves COTC. Also, trucks are governed at 65mph.

I am subscribed to a YouTuber who works for them. He seems happy for the most part. But a couple things I couldn't deal with working for them...driver facing cameras and what he calls a whip-around, that's what he calls having to take pictures of the parts of the truck during a pretrip. Also he says they require you to chain your rolled up tarps down with a snap binder and then lock it so they don't get stolen. That and no headache racks. All your gear has to be stored in the trailer boxes, a step box or your side boxes...although they marry your truck to your trailer so you can keep your stuff where you like and you know how well your trailer has been treated.
