    Imo, for the first 6 months to a year you gotta take what you can get. Get some experience. Put up with some bs, and then hopefully move on to something better.
    I think some people forget what its like to be new with limited options.
    So new drivers, stick it out for a few months even, and you will have more opportunities.

    Btw, there are companies paying better than $.26/mile. Look around . ( Crete ).

    there are a ton of companies who pay more, you just have to look. Been offered jobs by several companies so far lowest $0.36/mile but none had anything else I wanted yet.
