CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Well, assign it to me since I don't have many miles this week and I have the hours.

The operations guy depicted wasn't my guy. My guy would have said it ain't on I-10 so I didn't give it to you.

Well hell boss, I was on I 80 last week.and the week before.and the week before that. I'm way over due!!!

I’ve worked one day in the last two weeks. That was today. What a mistake. Probably going back on sick leave until I’m healed up from my lung biopsy. Feel like complete crap tonight. Sure hope this biopsy shows something.

 

You gotta lay down and let yourself heal. I thought I could drive in between chemo treatments...nope... ain't bullet proof.

 

My wife has been saying that this whole time. I think it’s time for me to start listening to her.

 

Ah yes...and a happy wife is a happy life... some day I'll learn to live by that!

 

It’s not always the guy that’s wrong driver.

 

Pilot in Stratford, TX. hundreds of CFI miles, about 300 more tomorrow...good weather,no complaints.

 

That's about 30 miles from the town I was raised in. Good ole dalhart tx haha. Hate that place..will be happy if I never see it again. Stratford is a decent enough place.

 

You will see it again...us54 is popular route for trucks...low on clock time, I get to Dalhart, I got this knocked...made the turn on 59.... THE TRAIN!!!!

evil laugh coming from the Rooster wagon... every truck that passed me in the last 75 miles was waiting for that train!!!

The most respected trucker arrives on the scene and boom...the arms go up.

I've got to keep a list of the amazing things that happen to the most respected trucker before my feeble memory loses them.
