El Paso, picking up tonight relay to Dallas. Wait a minute, what is the final on this relay. Well Rooster, it has to be in quad cities by Monday.
Well Mr Operations person, is somebody assigned to take it up there?
Actually, no Rooster, why do you ask?
Well, assign it to me since I don't have many miles this week and I have the hours.
Great idea Rooster why didn't I think of that?
The operations guy depicted wasn't my guy. My guy would have said it ain't on I-10 so I didn't give it to you.
Well hell boss, I was on I 80 last week.and the week before.and the week before that. I'm way over due!!!
Another facepalm moment brought to you by operations.
That's 2700 for the week with two Waco triangle loads.

You will see it again...us54 is popular route for trucks...low on clock time, I get to Dalhart, I got this knocked...made the turn on 59.... THE TRAIN!!!!
evil laugh coming from the Rooster wagon... every truck that passed me in the last 75 miles was waiting for that train!!!
The most respected trucker arrives on the scene and boom...the arms go up.
I've got to keep a list of the amazing things that happen to the most respected trucker before my feeble memory loses them.
Stay safe my friends.paul_4lp and Cerberus XVI Thank this. -
Hard day at the office...winds gusting to 45... hitting me broadside most of the day.
Oh by the way, a whopping 1100 in the box...stick a fork in me and see if I'm done.
That's 1100 pound, not 11000, no killograms...paul_4lp, mitrucker and Cerberus XVI Thank this.
